Hats for the Homeless History

I started Hats for the Homeless in 2009, when I got the idea to knit hats and give them away to needy people during Christmas. The first year, I knit 47 hats for Covenant House.

Today, I knit over 200 hats and 50 scarves per year. Recent recipients include: The Bowery Mission, Operation Gratitude, The Ronald McDonald House, and many church shelters.

100% of the proceeds go directly to buying yarn to knit more hats and scarves
